Our Services

Our dedicated team is helping families paying care home fees which should have been funded by their Primary Care Trust (PCT).

We are already helping hundreds of people reclaim wrongly paid care home fees incurred between 1 April 2004 and 31 March 2012. While the deadline for these cases has now passed, we are still able to offer a comprehensive service to others affected by care home fees.

Progress a registered claim

Many people are in a position whereby they have registered their own potential claim for care home fees paid between 1 April 2004 and 31 March 2012, however are unsure as to the next steps. It is crucial that the next stage is dealt with accurately to best reflect an individual’s health needs and ensure that the deserved redress is received.

If you have registered a claim, you are likely to receive a form, around 10–12 pages in length, from your Primary Care Trust. It is this form which will now shape the basis of your claim so it is essential it is filled out correctly and objectively and you are fully aware of the implications of your answers.

If you are at all worried or concerned about completing the form, or if you simply don’t have enough time to dedicate to it, our team of qualified solicitors and litigation executives can provide this service for you.

Submit an appeal

If you have had your claim rejected by your Primary Care Trust, and you strongly believe you are eligible for redress, we may be able to help you submit an appeal.

We will thoroughly review your case and, based on our evaluation, advise you on its strength and possible outcome. Should all parties wish to proceed, we will then submit an appeal on your behalf.

Expert legal help and advice

If you have a loved one who is in need of care and you are unsure if they are eligible for NHS continuing care (i.e. where your Primary Care Trust covers the cost of care), our dedicated team of legal experts can offer some much needed clarity.

As part of our service, you will benefit from a detailed discussion with one of our experts in this field who will carry out an assessment of your eligibility. If we believe you are entitled to NHS continuing care, and your PCT has deemed you ineligible, we can make a claim on your behalf on the grounds of either non-assessment or incorrect assessment.
