Meet the Staff
There's nearly 300 people working at Goldsmith Williams so it would be impossible for you to meet and greet them all. So we thought we'd just introduce you to the management team.
Lynne McCaffrey, Head of Conveyancing
Lynne McCaffrey is responsible for the day to day running of the Conveyancing Department. Lynne joined Goldsmith Williams in 2005. She is a Licensed Conveyancer with over 18 years conveyancing experience and has worked at every stage of the conveyancing process, leading to a role as Conveyancing Manager and subsequent appointment to Head of Conveyancing.
Maria Rodman, Head of Compliance
As Head of Compliance, Maria is responsible for ensuring that we comply with all our professional rules and regulations, continually reviewing, updating and monitoring our systems and controls. Maria is also our money laundering reporting officer.
John Jones, Director for Learning and Development
An accredited trainer, John is the Director of 'Osmosis', the Goldsmith Williams Academy for Learning & Development which delivers training both internally and externally. John has been with Goldsmith Williams for many years and is a highly experienced lawyer in both the conveyancing and private client markets.
Trevor Reese, Corporate Accountant
Trevor is Goldsmith Williams’ Corporate Accountant and also oversees our Finance department. Trevor is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is responsible for all financial aspects of the company.
Adele Whittle, Director of Operations (Contentious)
Adele oversees the contentious side of the firm including the Personal Injury (RTA) and Financial Claims Departments. Adele is a qualified solicitor with over 10 years PQE and has been with the firm since 2003 when she joined as an RTA solicitor. She has since taken responsibility for the RTA Department as a whole and has recently been appointed as Director, responsible for all the firm’s contentious business.
Allister Hill, Finance Director
Allister Hill is responsible for the financial management of the partnership and associated companies. He joined GW in March 2009 following previous roles at Carole Nash Insurance, Littlewoods and American Express.
Linda Cummins, Head of Wills
Linda is a qualified Solicitor of 10 years and a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner of 8 years. She is a member of SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) and STEP ( Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners). She specializes in all aspects of Wills, Probate, Trusts, Tax, Estate Planning , Elderly Client, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work with 20 years overall legal experience.
Shirley Turner, Head of Financial Claims
Shirley Turner is responsible for the day to day running of the Financial Claims Department. Shirley joined Goldsmith Williams in 2001. She is a qualified lawyer with 17 years overall legal experience.
