David Shortt, a Director of Liverpool based law firm Goldsmith Williams, has been given a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by representatives of the UKs financial services industry.
Presented with his award at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on 24th February 2010, David said he was both surprised and delighted to have his career recognised in this way: "I have spent more than 40 years working in the financial services industry and can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment. For the past 7 years I have helped Goldsmith Williams strengthen its position as a leading supplier of legal services to the financial services sector and it has been a privilege to work within such a professional team here in Liverpool."
Eddie Goldsmith, Senior Partner at Goldsmith Williams, said: "David joined Goldsmith Williams as Corporate Services Director in 2003 and since then has used his extensive experience and knowledge to help us grow our conveyancing business by more than 30%.
