We aim to conclude your case as soon as possible, recovering a full refund of your payment protection insurance plus interest. However the time is typically dependent upon the lender involved.

Lenders currently have 8 weeks from acknowledging your complaint to providing a decision. If they have failed to give a decision within this timeframe, we may have to escalate your claim to the Financial Ombudsman Services (FOS).

Alternatively you are able to pursue a claim yourself, contacting your lender in the first instance before making a complaint through the FOS or Financial Services Compensation Scheme should the lender miss the deadline, make an incorrect offer, reject your claim outright or have gone out of business.
