Remortgage Standards
1. To provide a fast and effective remortgage service to clients.
2. To act in accordance with the client’s instructions.
3. To comply with the Law Society’s client care provisions.
4. To identify the client in accordance with the firm’s Anti Money Laundering Procedure.
5. To deal courteously and professionally with all clients and third parties in both verbal and written communication.
6. To ensure that all data entered onto the case management system is accurate and kept up to date.
7. To enter key dates on the case management system.
8. To ensure that all undertakings both given and received are complied with.
9. To complete a standard remortgage transaction within 10 working days of receiving the mortgage offer if this complies with the client’s instructions and the lender’s conditions have been satisfied.
Conveyancing Standards
1. To provide a professional, timely and effective conveyancing service to clients.
2. To seek to identify the client’s objectives with regard to the transaction.
3. To act in accordance with the client’s instructions.
4. To fulfil the client’s expectations.
5. To explain the Conveyancing process to the client in documents written in plain English.
6. To identify the client in accordance with the firm’s Anti Money Laundering Procedure.
7. To deal courteously and professionally with all clients and third parties in both verbal and written communication.
8. To advise the client of the reason for any delay in the transaction.
9. To seek to complete a conveyancing transaction within 3 months of receiving the initial instructions.
